3M ESPE VPS Tray Adhesive is a crucial dental product designed to facilitate precise and reliable dental impressions. This specialized adhesive is formulated to ensure strong adhesion between VPS (Vinyl Polysiloxane) impression materials and various types of impression trays, including those crafted from metal, polypropylene, or methacrylate. It is exclusively compatible with 3M VPS impression materials, guaranteeing optimal performance.
Packaged in a user-friendly 17ml bottle, this adhesive simplifies the impression-making process for dental professionals. Its primary function is to securely attach the impression material to the tray, thus preventing any material slippage or distortion during the procedure. This results in accurate and consistent impressions, crucial for various dental applications.

STEP 1: Select and/or prepare a suitable tray. Prior to the application of Tray Adhesive, a trial fit tray for proper fit and extension.
STEP 2: After the proper fit is assured, rinse and thoroughly dry the tray.
STEP 3: Brush a thin layer of Tray Adhesive onto the tray surfaces that will be covered with impression material and allow to air dry for at least five minutes, but no more than 30 minutes. Repeat application if greater than 30 minutes have elapsed.
Technique Tip: Avoid the placement of excess adhesive onto tray surfaces. Retention will NOT be enhanced and may be compromised by the placement of a thicker layer of tray adhesive onto tray surfaces.
STEP 4: Mix and place desired tray viscosity impression material directly into coated impression tray as per the selected impression material directions.
