Maarc EDTA-17 Chelating/Lubricating Material

Maarc EDTA-17 17% EDTA with Carbamide Peroxide Paste is a water-soluble root canal preparation material specially formulated for endodontic procedures. Composed of 17% Ethylene Diamine Tetraacetic Acid (EDTA) with Carbamide Peroxide, it offers excellent chelating, lubricating, and debriding action, effectively aiding in the cleaning and shaping of the root canal system. The paste acts as a root canal conditioner and lubricant, softening calcifications and facilitating the removal of debris during chemico-mechanical preparation, particularly useful in calcified or narrowed canals. Its water-soluble nature ensures easy rinsing and removal from the canal after instrumentation. The product also supports efficient mechanical instrumentation by reducing friction and enhancing debris removal, contributing to precise canal shaping. Packaged for optimal shelf-life, it remains stable for 24 months when stored between 10°C and 30°C, and the cap should be closed immediately after use to maintain its efficacy and consistency.
