3M™ Filtek™ Z350 XT Universal Restorative Composite Compule Refills are designed for use in both anterior and posterior restorations. This versatile composite delivers excellent polish retention, exceptional handling, and outstanding strength. It offers dental professionals a fluorescent, radiopaque, and opalescent resin material that ensures esthetic dental fillings. With 36 available shades and four opacities (dentin, body, enamel, and translucent), it allows for precise shade matching and layering to achieve natural-looking results. Filtek Z350 XT Flowable Restorative sets a new benchmark for flowable composites, providing high strength and wear resistance. It combines excellent esthetics with “Flow on Demand” handling, making it easier to use. This product ensures superior results, whether used for small fillings, as a base or liner, or for core build-ups, enhancing the overall quality of dental restorations.

Isolation and Preparation:
- Isolate the tooth to be restored to prevent contamination.
- Clean the tooth surface thoroughly.
Etching:
- Apply 37% phosphoric acid etchant to the enamel and dentin surfaces.
- Leave it for 15-30 seconds on enamel and 10-15 seconds on dentin.
- Rinse thoroughly with water and air dry. Ensure the tooth is not over-dried.
Bonding:
- Apply 3M™ Scotchbond™ Universal Plus Adhesive to the etched surfaces.
- Scrub the adhesive for 20 seconds, air thin to evaporate the solvent, and light-cure for 10 seconds.
Application:
- Load the compule into the composite dispensing gun.
- Place the tip of the compule directly on the prepared cavity floor.
- Inject the composite in increments, each not exceeding 2mm.
Curing:
- Light-cure each increment for 20 seconds using a curing light.
- Ensure the curing light is held close to the composite surface without touching it.
Shaping and Finishing:
- Shape the restoration using appropriate dental instruments.
- Use fine and extra-fine diamond burs for initial contouring.
- Polish the restoration with composite polishers for a high-gloss finish.
Final Inspection:
- Check the restoration for any occlusal high spots.
- Adjust if necessary, ensuring the patient’s bite is comfortable.
Post-Operative Care:
- Instruct the patient on post-operative care and advise them to avoid hard foods for the first 24 hours.
