Etching (Optional):Â
- For Total-Etch Technique: Apply a suitable etchant to the enamel and dentin, then rinse and dry thoroughly.Â
- For Selective-Etch Technique: Apply the etchant to the enamel only, avoiding dentin. Rinse and dry.Â
Application:Â
- Shake the adhesive bottle to ensure proper mixing.Â
- Apply a thin, even coat of 3Mâ„¢ ESPE Adper Single Bond Universal Adhesive to the prepared tooth surface.Â
- Agitate it gently for 20 seconds to facilitate penetration.
Â
Light Cure:Â
- Use a suitable curing light to polymerize the adhesive for the recommended time.Â
Restoration Placement:Â
- Proceed with placing the dental restoration according to standard clinical procedures.Â
Post-Operative Care:Â
- Check for occlusion and make any necessary adjustments.Â
