Precautions:
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Always wear gloves, face masks, and safety eyewear during application.
- Contact with Oral Tissue or Skin: If contact occurs, remove immediately with a sponge or cotton soaked in alcohol, then flush with water.
- Contact with Eyes: Rinse immediately with water and seek medical attention.
- Sensitivity Reactions: In rare cases, the product may cause sensitivity. Discontinue use and consult a physician if such reactions occur.
- Ingestion: If swallowed, dilute by drinking water and seek medical attention.
- Mixing Components: Do not mix powder or liquid with any other glass ionomer components.
Dispensing Instructions:
- Powder to Liquid Ratio: Use a standard ratio of 2.5:1 by weight (1 level scoop of powder to 2 drops of liquid).
- Powder Dispensing: Lightly tap the powder bottle against your hand. Avoid shaking or inverting the bottle.
- Liquid Dispensing: Hold the liquid bottle vertically and squeeze gently.
- Seal Bottles: Close bottles immediately after use to prevent contamination.
Mixing:
- Dispense: Place powder and liquid onto a mixing pad.
- Mixing Process: Divide the powder into 2 equal parts. Mix the first portion with all of the liquid for 10 seconds. Incorporate the remaining powder and mix thoroughly for 15-20 seconds. Total mixing time should not exceed 30 seconds.
Application of Restore Glass:
- Preparation: Follow standard techniques as needed. For pulp capping, use calcium hydroxide.
- Conditioning: Wash and dry the preparation.
- Mixing and Working Time: Mix the required amount of cement. Working time is 1 minute 30 seconds from the start of mixing at 23°C (73.4°F). Higher temperatures will shorten the working time.
- Application: Remove surface moisture but do not desiccate. Transfer the cement to the preparation using a suitable instrument and avoid air bubbles. Form the contour and place a matrix if required within the first 2 minutes of setting.
- Final Setting: The final setting time is 3 minutes from the start of mixing.
