Prime Dental Restorite Etching Gels contains 37% phosphoric acid and is designed for enamel and dentin conditioning. It has a stable consistency, ensuring it does not dry or thicken, making it easy to dispense with the provided application needles. Unlike some other etching gels, it contains silica, which may be difficult to remove completely and could impact bonding if left on the etched surface. The gel is ideal for direct composite restorations, pit and fissure sealant applications, indirect restorations like composite or metal-free ceramics with adhesive cements, and bonding orthodontic brackets. After application, it should be left for 15 seconds, rinsed with water, and the area dried with oil-free air for optimal results.
